WE ARE STARTING A MAGAZINE - ARE YOU SAM?

I was wondering if anybody had any great insight on how the distribution world works? If I was holding my print magazine in my hand and was going to have it delivered (in bulk of course) how would I get the ball rolling? I have talked to lots of distribution companies and most of them have said that they are just a go between or they don't take new publications (i thought the last one was crazy)
any help would be great.

Well if you are having trouble, why not set a distribution company up yourself ;) and make it suit to your needs, that way you will be much happier and know that your mag will be delivered and on time. Hope I have helped?
