Parallax was founded to provide a new, fresh viewpoint on photography that takes advantage of the dynamic nature of the iPad platform. The magazine seeks to celebrate photography through the eyes of photographers.
Topics covered in the premiere issue include:
- photographer/illustrator Sebastiaan Bremer talks about inspiration
- building an inexpensive DIY studio
- new perspectives on wedding photography

Readers are not required to sign up for any other service to read Parallax, and don’t have to download any items other than the app itself. The magazine features real interactivity, through slide shows, movies and hyperlinks. With the exception of the hyperlinks, which require an Internet connection, all the content in Parallax is available without Internet access.
Parallax Magazine is designed to be entirely user-supported, and carries no advertising.
