Sometimes you do get what you pay for...

One of the banes of Graphic Designers are the cookie cutter and low-budget services that you can find online. Since we're all looking for affordability and making our dollar stretch, services like this are quite alluring. However, I found a blog at http://tinyurl.com/dlbasp that really illustrates how you get what you pay for. This blog reviewed the website 50 dollar logo.com (no spaces). The 50 dollar logo site guarantees amazing logos with UNLIMITED revisions and turnaround time within a couple of days all for $50. This review is refreshing in that it exposes that this particular company does not live up to their billing. After taking the blogger's $50 payment they presented very mundane logo samples, had to be prodded and reminded for months to even respond to the project, changed the name of the client's business and ultimately stopped responding to the client's requests. Yes, they took his money and ran without supplying a completed logo!
