Good point - many publishers want to know the positions but then need delegation to grow. Freelance vendors and outsourcing is necessary at first and perhaps makes sense long term depending on the model. Large pubs aren't showing that in-house is the answer.

Any chance I could _stop_ experiencing all positions within a publication would be welcome ;) Well, we don't have staff writers and I don't do layout, but that's about it. The "and more" is the worst part--marketing, finances, etc, etc.
